Mr. Wood is responsible for transaction execution, structuring, and monitoring activities for Tenex. His focus at Tenex is on evaluating and underwriting investments.
Mr. Wood was previously an Associate at Clayton Dubilier & Rice (CD&R). While at CD&R, he focused on the evaluation of investment opportunities and subsequent capital markets transactions across a broad range of industries including Healthcare, Industrials and Business Services. At CD&R, he was responsible for managing due diligence processes, securing debt financing as well as structuring transactions. In addition, Mr. Wood helped monitor the performance of the firm’s portfolio companies and track the implementation of targeted operational initiatives.
Prior to CD&R, Mr. Wood began his career in the Financial Sponsors Investment Banking Group at Morgan Stanley, where he helped execute numerous debt and equity transactions for the firm’s Private Equity clients in the Healthcare, Industrials and Consumer sectors.
Mr. Wood currently serves, or has previously served, on the boards of Techniks (Observer), Rush Overland, Compass Health, US GreenFiber, SouthernCarlson, Fairmont, PEMCO, Hub Pen, Unirac, Pugh Lubricants, Custom Molded Products, Safety Infrastructure Solutions, and BeneSys, among others.
Mr. Wood has an MBA with honors and distinction from Columbia Business School and graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude from Middlebury College with a BA in Economics.
